Dear Friends,

I am running for S.C. House District 119 because our community faces many challenges ahead.  To reach our goals, we need leaders who are effective and respected.  Our mission is clear: we must improve the education across our state and improve our schools in this community; we must have a responsible tax reform that coincides with the working men, women and the families who live in our community; and we must protect our natural resources from the constant sprawling growth seen by our community.

As a former prosecutor, and current Chairman of the Charleston County Council, I know first hand the effects each one of these issues has on our community. It is long overdue that government gets back to improving people’s lives and stops dictating how people should live them. Our citizens demand a 1^st class community and they have every right to expect the same from their leaders. 

As a member of the legislature, I won’t be taking orders from political bosses. Instead, I’ll be fighting for the people who work in Charleston County. I will be fighting for the families who live here and pray here everyday.  My commitment to this community is to be a representative everyone can be proud of and one who will always honor those values we hold so dear.
