Dear Friends,

Anne and I would like to say thank you to all of the residents of District 119 for their continuing confidence and support. I will do my best in this legislative term to continue to be your independent voice for change in the S.C. House of Representatives.

Our mission is clear: we must improve education across the state beginning with the schools here in our community; we must build a new South Carolina economy to provide opportunities to the hard working men and women of South Carolina; we must protect our environment and quality of life; and we must put an end to the bitter partisanship that has wounded our democracy.

As a member of the legislature, I do not take orders from political bosses. Instead, I fight daily for the families who work, live and pray here everyday. My commitment to this community is to be a representative everyone can be proud of and one who will always honor those values we hold so dear.
